Aldenham Golf & Country Club are Hiring a New Sous Chef
Reporting to the Head Chef and has the following responsibilities.
Assist with the leading of the day to day activities in the kitchen.
Responsible for ensuring that all food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and meets, or exceeds, the highest standards of quality taste and presentation.
Ensure effective portion and stock control, within the guidelines set out by the Head Chef.
To be aware of and ensure compliance with current health and hygiene regulations.
To ensure the continued smooth running of the department in the absence of the head chef.
Play a key role in the training and development of the kitchen team.
Experience in a similar role and/or environment.
Level 2 – Food Safety Certificate is required.
A flexible “can do” attitude is essential.
Knowledge of all kitchen sections required.
